Spring Break!

Hi!
Ok guys, sorry, but I'll be gone until next sunday on spring break. I'm going on a cruise to the Caribbean, so I won't have any wifi or signal.... so I'll upload some pictures of my trip afterwards.

I've also been researching Monster High doll repaints, and they look sooo cool. I bought a doll, and I'll be documenting my experiences with that.

BJD W.I.P.- Day 7

Clothes for an art body

If any of you know any places where you can buy clothes for a leekeworld art body for Mikhaila, I would appreciate it greatly. Any cheap wig stores would be appreciated too. I really want a short brown or purple wig in a bob style-

BJD-W.I.P. Day 6

I finished the torso!!!!!! She is super anatomically incorrect, but I still think she is cute. Here she is!

Yayayayayayayayayayayayay!!!!!

My first attempt at a wig is officially a disaster. But... I have learned so much.

- leave the synthetic hair for the professionals.

It is a pain in the butt and too heavy for modge podge to attach it. Wool or alpaca fur is so much easier to work with.

- hairdryers are amazing.

Using it to dry your work is immensely helpful.

 

I'm sooo sorry that I haven't posted in the last couple of weeks. Exams. We all know the pain.

I fixed my head and made a new cap with an indentation to keep it in place. I also sculpted a random figure. I'll post some pics.

Good news, Bad news

GOOD NEWS(amazing news)!!!!!
I'M GETTING A MIKHAILA BJD!!!!! [-fan girl squeal-]
Yayayayayayay!! I decided I needed a model for my Bjd. Also so I could see how the joints moved(what am I kidding, I just wanted one for the fun).

BAD NEWS(horrible):
My Bjd's head cracked and broke. I might be able to fix it, but it has a very slim chance of survival...... I think this calls for a new doll. So I put her aside and decided to restart her in sculpey because paperclay is a pain in the but to work with, especially faces.

P.S. The naming contest is over on the 25th so hurry and submit a name. I only have one so far.
